Finance Systems Analyst

Sohonet is looking to hire a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Soho, London office to manage our suite of finance systems and provide technical support to the wider finance team

Overview

Sohonet is looking to hire a Finance Systems Analyst to join our Soho, London office to manage our suite of finance systems and provide technical support to the wider finance team. The role is largely remote, with a requirement to come into the office for 1 or 2 days per week.

This is a newly created role and the primary focus will be around reconciliations between the various systems and alleviating pressure that has built within the finance team from the high number of systems that have been implemented over the past 12 months.

Longer term, the role will develop into a blend of day to day as well as potential involvement / finance lead in the selection and integration of a new ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for all Sohonet’s finance systems
  • Managing all integrations / connections across various systems
  • Responsible for reconciliations between each of these systems
  • Integrate into the finance team, driving efficiencies through automation and best practice system usage
  • First line of technical support for finance system users
  • Continuous search for systems improvements
  • Overall responsibility for all Sohonet’s finance systems:
    • Ordway – setting up new companies, users, maintaining systems architecture / coding structures
    • SAGE 200 – managing structures / integrations & management of relationship with external support provider GCC
    • SAP Concur – setting up new users, maintaining / updating chart of accounts / coding structures / workflows etc
    • Expensify – setting up new users, maintaining / updating chart of accounts / coding structures / workflows etc
    • Trip Actions administration
  • Managing all integrations / connections across various systems & reconciliations including but not limited to:
    • Billing and revenue system (Ordway) data, reconciling to Sales CRM
    • (Salesforce) and Finance ERP (SAGE 200)
    • Maintenance of Avalara tax engine connection to Ordway
    • Accounts Payable System (SAP Concur) data, reconciling to SAGE 200
    • Reconciliation of SAGE 200 to consolidation and reporting system Lucanet
    • Maintenance of budget data from Excel model to Lucanet reporting system
    • Managing Expensify COA / link to SAGE
    • Managing ADP payroll system COA / link to SAGE
    • Improving the data transfer from TripActions to SAGE

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant, ACCA or equivalent preferable
  • Experience of managing finance systems
  • Advanced level Excel
  • Experience of SAGE, Salesforce, SAP Concur a plus billing systems
  • Numerically iterate
  • Independent and not afraid to roll up sleeves and “get stuck in”
  • Industry experience working in media & entertainment, technology, or telecoms also a plus.
