Last September, on the final day of IBC, with most of the leadership team on the road we got the call to say that there’d been a fire in our office at 5 Soho Street – no one was harmed – but the gut of the office was destroyed.
The impact of this scenario is something that most people never want to contemplate, no one ever expects to have to use their business continuity/disaster recovery plan, but if you do, and it’s been done right, there is an opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to your customers, to test the resilience of your business and, ultimately, to see your teams perform at their best.
