The Sohonet t-shirt – The new uniform at HPA Tech Retreat UK?

The first UK HPA Tech Retreat is in motion, and what a success the show has been  so far, with great talks coming from the likes of HBO, MPC, Pixar & Netflix to name a few. We’ve been spoilt with behind the scenes footage on Game of Thrones, The Jungle Book and Finding Dory and still have a full day left with another great line up, including an awesome session on cloud rendering which Sohonet’s CEO Chuck Parker will be moderating. He will be joined by Milk VFX, Google and Avere to discuss how and why VFX houses are now expanding their compute abilities beyond in-house walls. Last night Sohonet hosted a very raucous cocktail party post-dinner, with the promise of ‘refreshments’ we managed to get most of the crowd to model our very smart ‘networking shirts’. We promised the person with the most re-tweets wearing the shirt a bottle of champagne and i’m happy to announce that Marc Risby from Boxer Systems was the clear winner!
