Great Crowd & Conversation at our cloud rendering workshop – Vancouver
Last Thursday the Sohonet team joined forces with Google Cloud and Avere at The Penthouse Event Suite in Vancouver, to hold a private workshop on cloud rendering for VFX. The event was a great success, with significant focus being on real-world case studies from teams that have been in the trenches with cloud render from the very beginning.
With an audience ranging from producers, technical staff and business development teams within VFX, Production and Post-Production facilities, the quality of Q&A’s was particularly varied and engaging, so a big thank you to everyone for coming along – we hope you picked up some of the very cool swag we were handing around! We will also be sending out follow-up emails with more information on the service credits Sohonet, Avere and Google Cloud offered every company in attendance.
