Sohonet and ERA Connect, Giving UK Post a Faster Route to Scalable Infrastructure

UK facilities can now reach ERA’s hosted workstations, storage and render through Sohonet, scaling up for the next project without new connectivity or weeks of lead time

LONDON, (Nov. 4, 2026) – Sohonet, which has set the standard for secure, high-performance media infrastructure for 30 years, today announced that ERA, a UK specialist in IT workflow solutions for media, post-production and broadcast, is now available across Sohonet Media Fabric. ERA will incorporate Sohonet’s Multiport service, connecting its infrastructure directly to the Sohonet Media Network (SMN).

Operationally, it allows any Sohonet-connected facility to deploy additional workstations and storage for upcoming projects over its already existing Sohonet Media Network connection without having to do a new infrastructure build-out.

They can reach ERA’s hosted workstations, storage, render and on-site infrastructure over the SMN with Sohonet’s security and performance carried end to end.
