Sohonet at NAB 2026

The very first NAB was held in the same year the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio was founded (1923!) - the same year Warner Bros. was incorporated. Hollywood was still under construction... brick by brick, studio by studio, idea by idea. Silent cinema was at its height, and the industry was still working out what it wanted to become.

One hundred and three years later, we are still figuring it out...

A lot has changed. And a lot hasn’t. The pressure to tell great stories, to do more with less, to keep up with what audiences expect... none of that is new. It just feels louder now.

What never really changes is how much people in this industry care. And that was one of the nicest things about being back at NAB this year... there was a feeling on the show floor that, yes, the industry is still navigating a lot of change, but it is moving forward too.

Against that backdrop, NAB gave Sohonet the opportunity to showcase the latest across its product portfolio - from new updates in Review Suite and PAM Suite to Media Fabric, its recently launched managed infrastructure platform for the media and entertainment industry.

Review Suite

ClearView Flex, our Emmy Award-winning real-time collaboration platform, was shown at NAB with full mobile parity, expanded Editorial Sessions, and enterprise SSO via SAML. Roadmap additions include a software-only stream encoder, session-type presets for colour and VFX workflows, and additional near-reference-grade quality options.

ClearView Pivot, our theatrical-grade remote review platform, has undergone a reliability overhaul ahead of NAB, with automated testing infrastructure and improved process management helping reduce instability and unplanned support interventions. Plug-and-play networking is now available for Pivotbox and PivotLite on Starter accounts.

ClearView Rush is our new asynchronous review platform, coming soon, designed for studio teams reviewing dailies, cuts, and production assets. Features will include custom dailies reels, direct user-to-user sharing, reviewer watchlists, and a streamlined review player, with web-based file import powered by FileRunner.

PAM Suite

Core, our production asset management platform, is adding AI-powered search capabilities in 2026, including natural language search, contextual asset search, reverse image search, and AI-generated searchable transcriptions.

FileRunner, our browser-based large-file transfer tool, was shown in its current release. Enterprise SAML/SSO with MFA, bulk user management, and Resilio integration are planned for later in the year.

Media Fabric

Media Fabric, our recently launched managed infrastructure suite, brings together private connectivity, cloud access, managed security, LAN and WiFi, colocation, file transfer, always-on sync, and remote shared workspaces under a single managed service with 24/7 support.

Partners

Resilio and BIND Studios joined us on the booth, demonstrating how their platforms integrate with our infrastructure and tools.

Resilio showcased continuous peer-to-peer asset synchronisation running over our private network, supporting distributed shared workspaces and server sync for production infrastructure at up to 100 Gbps.

BIND Studios presented BIND Hub, a centralised platform for VFX shot delivery, review, and vendor coordination, developed in partnership with us and integrated with ClearView Flex and FileRunner.
