Who are we?

We are a young, entrepreneurial global expert in connectivity and data management services, focusing exclusively on the media and entertainment industry. In short, we allow creatives to collaborate on content wherever they are in the world. We do this by providing an extensive range of SaaS/PaaS solutions backed up by unrivalled technical support which enables them to manage and transfer valuable and critical content quickly, securely and effectively. Our media network is the largest and most established private, high-performance network for the media industry connecting the leading studios, production and post-production facilities across the globe.

The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to cover a 12-month maternity leave, starting in February 2027. You’ll own the technical backbone of Sohonet’s marketing team: keeping our systems, lead funnel and outbound communications running smoothly, improving them where you can, and showing clearly what our marketing delivers in engagement, pipeline and revenue. This is, above all, a hands-on technical role. You’ll be comfortable with software in all its forms, able to solve problems and find answers on your own, and generally self-sufficient. It’s also a marketing role: you’ll know the media and entertainment market (or be keen to learn it fast), and you’ll be confident presenting to senior stakeholders, including our CEO and CRO. Ultimately, you’ll combine technical and marketing know-how to help Sohonet hit its sales goals. You’ll get a structured handover and documented processes so you can get up to speed quickly, and you’ll step into a busy, live programme. We welcome applications from experienced interim and contract marketing operations professionals.

Training the sales and demand generation teams on our systems is an ongoing part of the role.
