The Role
We are looking for an accomplished Sales Development Representative to join a growing team of top-performing SDRs to both protect and expand our revenues within our customer base, from new prospects and to win business from leads driven by our marketing campaigns. You will work closely with our Key Account Managers (KAMs) on our existing commercial relationships including Walt Disney, Warner Bros., Sony, Paramount, Universal Pictures, Skydance, Netflix, Amazon, Apple, and many other film and TV studios as well as their post-production partners that work in editing, visual effects (VFX), colour grading, sound, finishing and distribution of feature films, television, and commercials. As an SDR, you will directly help support our sellers, expand our managed services solutions with upsells and cross-sells within our sizable customer base and protect renewal revenues. You will be working with creative and technical buyers from the top film, TV, and advertising studios across the UK and Europe. The portfolios of products and services that you will represent include network connectivity, managed security solutions, real-time collaboration products for producers, directors, editors, colourists, etc, file transfer and storage solutions, and public cloud access services. In essence, you will be at the technology and services forefront of movies, TV and award-winning commercials.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include demoing and creating proposals for entry-level products and services through engagements that include managing trials of our software products within those accounts. We have heavily invested in data awareness tools, and you will be using our data science and decision support tools to analyze account information in order to make recommendations on our account engagement activities. Typical day-to-day activities will include creating and administering quotes and orders for key customers. In your role, you'll respond to inquiries, demonstrate our products, create proposals, manage software trials, and use data science tools (Tableau) to analyse account information and identify cross/upsell opportunities. You'll generate quotes, make outbound calls, qualify leads, and arrange meetings with KAMs. You'll also support in the planning and handling contract renewals, sourcing new target companies/divisions within enterprise organisations, All the while ensuring data accuracy, participating in training, expanding expertise, representing Sohonet professionally, and achieving quarterly goals.
Requirements
{$}Proven experience as a Sales Administrator, Inside Sales representative, Sales Development, or Business Development role
{$}University degree (preferred)
{$}Fluency in written and spoken English {$}Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven presentation/demonstration, and client interaction skills.
{$}Highly energetic and a self-starter
{$}Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
{$}Technically savvy and strong proficiency with Salesforce.com and associated sales systems preferred.
{$}Ability to manage multiple opportunities and varying levels of complexity concurrently.
{$}Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude and/or call center methodology and practices.
